Euro bus expo great opportunity for Stertil Koni

Stertil Koni was pleased to be exhibiting once again at the recent Euro Bus Expo in Birmingham. Showcasing its wireless lift range at the event, the company reported a busy show with an encouraging number of high quality enquiries.

Stertil boss Tony Edge said there was a "good range of potential new customers" visiting the show, as well as plenty of existing customers to catch up with. "We had a steady flow of visitors throughout the show," he added, "And it was also a great opportunity to meet with the major UK bus operators again."

Stertil's versatile wireless mobile vehicle lifts offer a range of lifting capacities from 26 to 40 tonnes. The low maintenance, functionality and special features of Stertil's electro-hydraulic system are particularly appealing to potential customers familiar with the old-style "screw and nut" mobile lifts. With a unique battery-powered vehicle lift, that uses biodegradable oil, added to the range this year, Koni's environmental credentials are equally sound.

The Euro Bus Expo event at the Birmingham NEC was the biggest dedicated industry event in Europe this year, welcoming manufacturers and suppliers from across the European bus and coach industry, with over 300 exhibitors taking part. The biennial event reflects the UK's position as the third largest market for road-based public transport vehicles in Europe and its part of an overall sector worth many billions of euros.

The world's leading supplier of mobile vehicle lifts, Stertil Koni is the only UK lift supplier to have been awarded Safe Contractor, Environmental Accreditation and ISO 9002. Specialising in the design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of hydraulic vehicle lifts, the company uses its own factory-trained engineers and keeps parts in stock for every model for at least 25 years after production.
