Stertil Koni's development team has come up with a new anti-skid finish for commercial vehicle lifts. As well as adding the finish to new models, Stertil has ensured that it can be easily and quickly retro fitted to existing lifts - including other manufacturers' models.

The new anti-skid solution is suitable for platforms of all fixed commercial lifts and consists of aluminium diamond plates with a special adhesive. The plates are available in lengths of 1250mm and two different widths - 400mm and 600mm. The number of plates needed depends on the platform length of individual lifts but, as an example, a nine-metre platform lift would require 14 plates and take two people around an hour and a half to assemble.

Stertil Koni is widely acknowledged for the inherent safety of its lift design and its after-sales support and maintenance is second-to-none. All lifts are tested with 50,000 lifting cycles under full load, corresponding to at least 25 years' use under the heaviest conditions. The development of the anti-skid finish is another demonstration of Stertil's commitment to producing safe, efficient, reliable and long-lasting equipment of the highest standard.
