Northampton based Stertil UK have recently announced the launch of a new Stertil-Koni Mobile Column Lift model to add to their already comprehensive range.

As the world's largest supplier of hydraulic mobile column lifts, Stertil have, once again, listened to their customers' needs and have this time developed a model that allows vehicles with large tread widths & tyre diameters to be lifted safely & efficiently.

Each electro-hydraulic mobile column lift is rated at 6.5t and is fitted with a control box that allows all the connected columns (to a max of 24) to be operated from every individual column. The control boxes also have the patented slow-lowering function, for the accurate alignment of transmissions etc., which was introduced to the market on the 8.2t model.

To cater for large wheel diameters & broad tyre treads the new lift has specially extended and wider, fixed pick-up forks. These modifications now allow vehicles with 800mm - 1800mm tyres and tread widths of up to 500mm to lifted to a maximum height of 1.85m in 89 seconds, with the minimum of fuss - all you require is a power supply, a flat floor and adequate headroom.

Should you wish at any stage to lift vehicles with smaller tyre dimensions, then the pick-up fork widths can be reduced by sliding reducer plates onto each of the carriages.
